Meet
Nona Mitoyan

I’ve wanted to be an attorney for as long as I can remember. Advocacy has always been part of my DNA — from speaking up for women’s rights to being a voice for the Armenian-American community. What started as a childhood dream grew into a lifelong commitment: helping people face life’s transitions with strength, clarity, and dignity.
My path to law has been shaped as much by lived experience as by legal training. I spent a decade in healthcare, where I saw firsthand how unprepared many families were for life’s hardest moments. I also gained broad experience in business and startups, where I learned to navigate complex systems, balance competing demands, and make decisions with lasting impact. Those opportunities gave me a perspective many attorneys never see — one grounded in both resilience and compassion.
That perspective is the foundation of Mitoyan Law. My practice spans estate planning, family formation, family law, and mediation. Whether guiding intended parents through surrogacy, drafting a trust to secure a family’s future, or helping couples resolve conflict outside of court, I approach every case with the same belief: that strategy and empathy must go hand in hand.
At my core, I believe law should be approachable, modern, and most importantly, human. My role is to stand alongside clients at pivotal moments — not just as their attorney, but as their advocate, their guide, and their voice when it matters most.
